Orbiq #023 — Coming soon

In the works

Leaving YNAB or
Lunch Money? Your
history is coming with you.

Hi there — we've built one-shot import rails for both YNAB and Lunch Money. They're in limited early access now, opening wider soon.

01 · From YNAB

Years of budget history, one request

Bring your own YNAB personal access token and Orbiq pulls the whole budget in a single pass — accounts, categories, transactions, split rows, transfers matched by YNAB's own pairing (not guessed), scheduled bills, category goals, and every month's assigned amounts.

Read-only, one-way — Orbiq never writes back to YNAB. Envelope rollover and Age of Money don't map to Orbiq's budget model, so those are called out plainly in the import report rather than faked.

02 · From Lunch Money

Same idea, same care with your data

The same BYO-token, one-shot pattern for people moving off Lunch Money — your accounts and transaction history land in Orbiq without a manual CSV export/re-import cycle.

03 · Want in early

Both rails are whitelist-only right now

We're rolling this out carefully rather than flipping it on for everyone at once. If you've got a YNAB or Lunch Money account you want moved over, just reply to this email and tell us which — we'll add you to the early-access list directly.
