Switching

Switch in five minutes

Bring your history from YNAB or Lunch Money in one go, keep every account in its own currency, and get a longer trial for the trouble.

Three steps

  1. Start a free trial. No card. It runs 18 days, and 30 days from the start if you bring your history over from YNAB or Lunch Money during it.
  2. Connect the app you’re leaving. In Orbiq, go to Import and choose YNAB (paste a personal access token) or Lunch Money (paste an access token). Orbiq reads your accounts, categories and transactions in one go and never writes back. The token is stored encrypted so you can pull in anything newer before you cut over; disconnecting deletes it and keeps what was imported.
  3. Check two balances. Pick one account in each currency and compare Orbiq’s balance with the bank’s. If they match, you’re done; if not, the balance check shows where they part.

Coming from somewhere else? Import a CSV, XLSX, OFX or PDF statement from any bank, or a screenshot of your banking app. You confirm a CSV’s columns once and Orbiq remembers them. Banks verified for import.

And leaving is just as quick

Everything you put in comes back out: a documented JSON backup, or CSV files in the columns YNAB and Actual Budget import, one per account. An open-source viewer reads an export offline with nothing from us. Your data is yours.
